Preview Chatbot Task

Simulate the customer experience of the chatbot using Web Messenger. Interact with the chatbot as if you are the customer.

  1. Open the call flow editor.

    1. From the Build menu, select Tasks.

    2. Select Chatbot to see chatbot tasks.

    3. Hover over a chatbot task and click View Canvas.

  2. Lower right of the canvas, click Preview Chatbot Task.

  3. Fill in the fields on the welcome screen.

    1. Enter your name.

    2. Enter your email address.

    3. Sign in using your name and email address.

    4. In the Question field, begin the conversation with the chatbot.

    5. Click Begin Chat.

Note:
  • When you make changes to the call flow, close and reopen the chatbot to see the changes.

  • If the customer attaches or uploads a file or image to the chatbot, Studio stores the address of the file or image in the Studio system variable sys.LAST_MESSAGE_MEDIA. See System Variables.

  • If the customer sends their location to the chatbot, Studio stores their location in the Studio system variables sys.LocationLatitude and sys.LocationLongitude. See System Variables.
