Outbound Dialer

Use the outbound dialer to test that the campaign works as expected.

Dial a number (commonly your own number for testing purposes) and pass any required parameters.

Opening the Outbound Dialer

  1. From the Build menu, select Campaigns.

  2. From the campaign dashboard, select the campaign.

    Initially, only on-demand campaigns are shown. To see list based campaigns, click the List-Based tab.

  3. From the Actions menu, click Make a Call.

Campaign Name

Name of the campaign.

Task Name

Name of the task assigned to the campaign.

Campaign Caller ID

The caller ID assigned to the campaign.

Phone Number

The phone number to call. For testing purposes, it is common to use your own number.

Passed Parameters

These parameters pass from the campaign to the task. Provide parameters if required.

The parameters listed are variable content items where the passed parameter property is yes. See Variables.
