Task Properties - Workflow

Fill in these properties when you create a workflow task. See Creating Tasks. To edit these properties, see The Tasks Dashboard.

Name

Give the task a name.

Tags

Enter words you might use to search for this task.

Active

Setting

Description

Set to active when the workflow task is ready to run to the schedule.

Set to inactive when you don't want the workflow task to run.

Passed Parameters

If the task requires parameters passed to it, select those parameters.

The parameters listed are variable content items where the passed parameter property is yes. See Variables.

Time Zone

The workflow schedule is set in this time zone.

Schedule

The workflow task runs to this schedule providing it is set to active.

Description

Fill in the descriptive fields.

  1. Select the start date and time. Click in the field to open a calendar display.

  2. Select the frequency in days, weeks, months, or years.

  3. Select the end of the repetitions. The schedule ends never, after a selected number of occurrences, or on a given date.

Always On Set a repetitive frequency in hours and minutes that never ends.

Node Logging Profile

Node logging enables a Firebase database or custom webhook to receive Studio events generated from your task in real time.

To receive events from this task, select a node logging profile. The profile contains details about your Firebase database or custom webhook. To create a profile or for more information on the profiles in your account, see Node Logging Profiles.

Enable Debug Logs

Click to enable or disable debug logs. The system log shows more events while debug logs are enabled. To insert logs into any datastore while debug logs are enabled, use the datastore node. Debug logs are disabled automatically two hours from the time they are enabled.
